Season of Change: Finding Home in the In-Between
This month has been a whirlwind, to say the least. We’ve officially moved out of our home, and I’m currently lodging with my mother—a sentence that, at forty-one, feels equal parts humbling and necessary. It’s not exactly the backdrop I imagined for this chapter of life, but it is the one we have, and we’re doing our best to embrace it. There’s something undeniably comforting about having my mum just down the hall, especially with the kids. They adore the extra attention, and having an extra pair of hands has made the chaos a little more manageable. With the holidays upon us, being under one roof—three generations strong—has become an unexpected blessing. Our renovations on the new forever home will begin soon, and though I’m eager to settle in, I’m reminding myself not to rush the process. Good things take time, and this home will be worth the wait.

If you haven’t already, I’d love for you to join the Soulbound Squad—my newsletter community full of readers who want a little extra magic in their inbox. Members get exclusive access to bonus chapters for both books, early news, behind-the-scenes updates, and the first look at anything new I’m working on. It’s the best way to stay connected, and I’d be thrilled to have you there.
I also wanted to share something a bit more personal. I haven’t been very well recently, and it’s taken a toll on my energy and focus. I’m doing my best to manage it day by day, and I’m hopeful that things are finally beginning to turn a corner. Unfortunately, this does mean that Book Three has been slightly delayed. I know many of you are eagerly waiting for what comes next, and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for your patience and kindness. Your messages, encouragement, and excitement remind me why I love writing these stories. I’m still here, still working, and with a bit more rest and healing, I’ll be back at full strength soon.
Thank you, truly, for sticking with me through every twist and turn—both on and off the page. Merry Christmas, and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and new year! Here’s to 2026!
