Logos, Letters, and Letting Go
It’s been a whirlwind over here—and I wanted to check in, spill the tea, and share what’s been going on behind the scenes lately.
First off, if you’ve been hanging around my socials, you’ll know I’ve been busy crafting exclusive goodies for the amazing readers who’ve joined my newsletter crew. I have a YAOY custom word search and crossword that I made—because if you’re going to be obsessed, you might as well make it interactive, right? To snag them sign up to my newsletter and try to wait patiently until they drop in your emails.
I have also been working on my branding and author logo. I am professional, don’t you know! So here it is, let me know what you think of it!
What else is new? Well, a biggie for me is the fact that my daughter will soon be off on her first-ever high school residential trip.
Now, if you know me, you know I’m a lioness when it comes to my children. Fierce. Protective. The kind of mother who always has one eye open and a Plan B (and C… and D). So I am learning to let go of the reins even though it physically hurts my heart. I’m so proud of her courage and independence—it’s all part of the growing, isn’t it? Her wings are stretching, and I’m over here just trying to remember how to breathe!
In other news, Greece is officially booked! I’ll be heading there in August to visit my hometown and spend some quality time with my Greek family and friends . I can already taste the food and feel the sun. There’s something about going home that resets everything inside me. I’m ready for it.
With summer around the corner the temptation to wind down and practice my cocktail making skills is tempting. But, being the workaholic that I am, I am knee-deep in the trenches -aka the editing stage to get book two in The Soulbound Series ready for a December release. wish me luck and have a cocktail on me!
