My First Ever Book Signing (and It SOLD OUT?!)
HEA Romance Book Event- February 28th Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool
I’m still not quite sure I’ve processed it properly, but… my very first book signing sold out. Going into the event, I was genuinely so nervous. I had convinced myself that no one would turn up to my table, and that I’d be sat there awkwardly with a stack of untouched books. So to see readers show up, support me, and actually sell out was such a surreal and emotional experience. The whole event was an absolute blast, and I want to say a huge thank you to Happily Ever After Bookshop for hosting such a beautifully organised and welcoming event. Everything ran so smoothly, and the atmosphere was just incredible. One of the highlights for me was getting to meet readers in person, chatting all things books, hearing their thoughts, and just sharing that mutual love of reading. It honestly meant the world. I also have to give a special thank you to my wonderful assistant, Charlotte. She kept me calm, made me laugh when I needed it most, and was an absolute hit with readers. I’m fairly certain she sold The Soulbound Series better than I did!
What’s Next?
I’m so excited to announce that my next event will be with Book Bonanza in Manchester on the 18th of April. I cannot wait to do it all over again—hopefully with slightly fewer nerves this time! Another exciting update—I’ve officially opened my own shop on Beventi! Life Lately…
In some non-author-related news, the house renovation is slowly but surely coming along. We’ve officially tackled most of the heavy “grunt work,” which feels like a huge achievement. Next up: electrics and plumbing—wish us luck!
